Random Police Checkpoint in Ft. Lauderdale

On Tuesday February 21, 2012, the Ft. Lauderdale Police will be conducting a traffic safety checkpoint from 3pm to 8pm between the 800-900 block of Seabreeze Blvd on South State Road A1A.
Cars will randomly be selected for things ranging from vehicle equipment to proof of insurance and valid driver's licenses. Just because they are checking for "safety items" doesn't mean they won't be more than happy to issue tickets for anything else they find. Be safe.
